Becki Beron is our 2018-2020 League President . Becki has been with the League since 2013. Becki has served as Treasurer and Chair of Community Programs. She joined after deciding to find an organization that would give back to the community and the Junior League fit the bill, focusing on women and children in Berkshire County. Professionally, Becki is Assistant Branch Manager and Certified Financial Councilor at Greylock Federal Credit Union in Pittsfield and also volunteers with Central Berkshire Habitat for Humanity. She is excited to work with the League to bring new initiatives to Berkshire County. She is married and currently lives in Pittsfield with her husband, Harry.
Mia Albano is our Immediate Past President. Mia has been with the League since 2008. Mia has served as Fundraising Co-Chair, Community Programs Chair, Membership Chair, as well as, serving on several committees. “Junior League has given me the opportunity to grow as a leader and to feel empowered as a woman. I love welcoming new members and watching as their skills developing into confident, community leaders!” Professionally, Mia is a Guidance Counselor for the Pittsfield Public Schools. She holds an MA in school counseling and BA in sociology. She is married and lives in Pittsfield with her husband and two young children.
Jessica Shandor is our Membership Chair for 2018 – 2020, she has also served as League President and on several committees. Jessica has been with the League since 2009. Jessica grew up in Berkshire County and follows in her mother footsteps as a JLBC Leader. She is very excited to be able to work with such an inspiring group of women making a difference in the community! Professionally, Jessica is the Director of Conference Sales at Jiminy Peak Mountain Resort in Hancock, MA. She is married and lives in Lanesborough with her husband and daughter Alexis.
Candace Wall is our Recording Secretary for the 2018 – 2019 year. Candace has served as Membership chair, Social Media chair, Fundraising Co-chair and has been active in many committees. Candace joined the League after returning to the Berkshires from graduate school in Chicago, as she was seeking an opportunity to connect with other women and serve the community she grew up in. Candace owns and manages her own psychotherapy practice in North Adams after working in the public sector for several years as a program administrator. Candace also sits on the Board of the Northern Berkshire United Way and Hardman Fund committee through Berkshire Taconic. She is married and lives in southern Vermont with her family.
