Junior League members are women working together to improve the lives of others. Our members come from varying backgrounds and interests yet share a common goal of helping others in our community.
The Junior League is proud of the many volunteer projects we have developed and completed. Some of our past and current projects are:
- Kids in the Kitchen
- Curl Up with a Good Book Literacy Program
- The Teen Parent Mentor Program
- Girls, Inc. Youth Biz & Discovery Programs
- The Gladys A. Brigham Children’s Center
- Step up to Success – a back to work seminar for women
- The Boys Club Substance Abuse Program – drug awareness for kids
- Buckle up Baby – car seat safety
- DA’s Task Force on family violence
We also annually award the Nicole Wilson Beebe scholarship. It is awarded to a high school senior in Berkshire County who shows a strong commitment to volunteerism and community service.
Other organizations we have assisted:
- The Kids Place
- Teen Parent Program
- Literacy & Learn
- Berkshire Council on Alcoholism
- The Louison House
